The New Team

Yay! I've finally uploaded something worthwhile!

This is my new team I've assembled in Soul Silver for a little contest my girlfriend ~vampire-chicken and I had going this week between the two of us.
We had to get six pokemon we'd always liked but never gotten around to using, train them all the way to level 50 and battle at the end of the week, whilst also drawing a group shot of them.

Just saying also, I know about the inaccuracies on Crawdaunt. He's supposed to be designed a little differently and I apologize.
I also apologize for the crappy upload quality. I might colour it, I might not.

So this is my final team; Electabuzz, Walrein, Marowak, Quagsire, Crawdaunt and Arcanine.
Their stats are below.

Electabuzz - Bolt: lvl 50. Moves are Discharge, Thunderbolt, Rock Climb and Swift.
I always liked Electabuzz, but I never got to use them since I had Yellow as a kid. By the tike I got Gold and Silver, there were a hundred or so new pokemon and I never got to use him.

Crawdaunt - Stanley: lvl 50. Moves are Payback, Crabhammer, Night Slash and Crunch.
I love the look of Crawdaunt, with her sunken eyes and interesting design. On top of that, she can learn Crabhammer, which is as powerful as Surf, but almost unheard of, so it catches people by surprise.

Marowak - Skully: lvl 50. Moves are Double Edge, Bonemerang, Headbutt and False Swipe.
Marowak was always in the same boat as Electabuzz. As soon as Gen 2 came out he was forgotten for newer and more interesting pokemon, but he's got great defense and my Marowak has Rock Head as an ability, so he receives no recoil from moves. With Rock Head and Double Edge, which does 120 damage and has 15PP, he's almost unstoppable.

Walrein - Arnold: lvl 50. Moves are Ice Fang, Surf, Avalanche and Body Slam.
Walrein was always a bit unreachable for me, since I could never find a Spheal in SS. But as soon as I got him I knew he would be one of my favorite pokemon.
He's Water/Ice type, but since he's Water type Fire's super effectiveness is nullified. Couple that with Thick Fat as an ability and Fire is not very effective at all.
On top of that, he's not that fast, which is perfect of a move like Avalanche, which does double damage if you're hit first in a turn. All that rolls together to make him a very formidable pokemon.

Arcanine - Annie: lvl 50. Moves are Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Reversal and Crunch.
Annie again was another pokemon that was forgotten about, like Electabuzz and Marowak, but finally getting a Growlithe was great and I soon evolved it into a fighting machine.
Arcanine is super powerful and super fast, making it the perfect preemptive strike pokemon. With moves like Heat Wave and Flamethrower she proves her dominance on the battlefield, but with Reversal, which gets more powerful the lower your health is, she can come out of nowhere and KO amazingly when you think the fight is over.

Quagsire - Quinlan: lvl 50. Moves are Sludge Bomb, Earthquake,
Yawn and Slam.
Quinlan is possibly one of the most versatile of my pokemon, since he can poison with Sludge Bomb, cause extreme damage with Earthquake and Slam and send opponents to sleep with Yawn. Coupled with the fact that he's Water/Ground, he's defended against electric type attacks, a Water types biggest weakness, and stop explosive pokemon from using Explosion or Selfdestruct, with Damp, it's ability.
